Venice by Carla

 Venice is a city located in northeast Italy. The city is built on an archipelago of 118 small islands all connected by 455 bridges. 

It is characterised as a city without car traffic, as the city is surrounded by water. 

The entire population of Venice is transported around the city by Vaporettos, this are like urban busses  here in Salamanca. 

It has many monuments and museums for being one of the most important cities in art, St. Mark's Square. 

Without a doubt, my favourite things in Venice are the ice creams and the Italian food such as pizza and pasta. 

 

Venice is one of the most touristic cities in the world because it is very beautiful and it is a city built on water, that makes it special.
