Cabárceno by Lucía G.

The Cabarceno Nature Park is located in the Pisueña valley, Cantabria, Spain. The park taken in to almost 120 animal species from five continents, distributed in enclosures with large spaces.

The Cabarceno Nature Park is not a zoo, nor is it a natural park. It is a naturalized space by the hand of man, there are 750 hectares of an old mining operation. This park has educational, cultural, scientific and recreational purposes.

Once you are there, you have two options: walk to the places or drive a car. Apart from visiting the places where the animals live, there are also shows with different species directed by specialists, and picnic areas for lunch.

Four years ago, I visited this wonderful park with my family. I recommend that you go a whole day, it is a very large place and it takes a long time to go through it. I would like to go again, I was little and I think now I would look at more things.
