 Hida 

 

Hida is a city located in Gifu, Japan. The city has a climate characterized by hot and humid summers and soft winters. 

Hida is the city where the beautiful movie (Kimi no na wa) is based, the city is located around a huge lake and the houses are distributed along the rivers Jinū and Takahara, most of the city is covered by long and big forest but also is round by huge mountains. 

Every April the typical festival “Furukawa” is celebrated in Hida, the floats that go along the reaver are decorated with lights and flowers of all the colors. 

Hida is a beautiful place to visit especially if you have seen the film Kimi no na wa, because you can look for the places that appear in the film or go to the festival, also you can see the typical thinks of the city like the rope braiding.
