Calpe, Alicante by Diego

Calpe is a village of Alicante, Spain, where every year a huge amount of tourists spend their holidays to get relaxed and to enjoy the views, the gastronomy and the beaches.

The most remarkable place in Calpe is the “Peñón de Ifach” which is a crag that stands out from the entire village. In addition, many people draw pictures of the tourists with this enormous mass of rock.

Furthermore, there are breathtaking long beaches that have clear water; in fact, it is possible to observe the fish moving from above.

Also, about the gastronomy, the rice is quite popular, especially paella; however, it is cooked in many different ways.

To sum up, I would say that Calpe is a high recommended tourist place. Even though, I would rather go off season because there are always fewer people.
