Salamanca by Guillermo

Salamanca is a Celtic city, located in the northeast of Spain. Known for its buildings and public areas, in addition being a world heritage site.

In the heart of the city are located different architectural works, such as La Casa de las Conchas, The old and new cathedral, The Roman Bridge, the University (with an age of 800 years old). Most of the constructions are made with Villamayor stone.

If you are looking for acquiring knowledge and teachings, you have to go to the Torrente Ballester Library, if you are an athlete, you should go to the Enjoy Gym, located in the Aldehuela or if you like soccer, you can go see a footbal match at the Helmantico Stadium.

Many people recommend visiting Salamanca, since it is a very culturally and historically rich city, with perfect weather in summer and a very good option for a holidays.
