Salamanca by Julia

Salamanca is a city located in the north-west of Spain, known for its University, one of the oldest in Spain. It's considered one of the most beautiful universities in the world, due to its crafted façade.

This interesting city attracts many international tourists and students year round, especially because of its historic monuments. The Plaza Mayor and both new and old Cathedrals are the heart of the city and there are also many churches and museums.

What I most like about this place is the river Tormes that goes through the city, not far away from the city center, where you can enjoy and relax near the riverside, or walk across the Roman bridge and watch the sunset.

Overall, I believe it's a fantastic place, with many entertaining activities to do, which creates a great atmosphere.
