Quebec City is the capital of the Canadian province of Quebec, and the only walled city in North America.
On the one hand, along its steep streets you can see a wonderful historic centre full of monuments like the “Château Frontenac” or the Cathedral of Notre Dame of Quebec.
On the other hand, you can also enjoy nature visiting, for example, the Chute de Montmorency, a spectacular waterfall. Additionally, in winter, you can wander around a frozen forest and have a marvellous hike. If you like sports, you can go ice skating or play hockey with just finding a frozen lake.
In what concerns food, don’t miss to taste the famous and peculiar maple taffy, a sugar candy made by maple sap poured on fresh snow.
I think Quebec City is a fantastic winter holiday destination to enjoy, learn and know customs very different from those of Spain.
