Griébal is a small old village located in the north of Huesca, near a small town called Ainsa. It is a very special village, since its population is all scouts.
Griébal is known throughout Spain for being the only old village that has been rehabilitated and rebuilt in its entirety by scouts, and not only Spanish people participate, but also from other areas of Europe, such as France, UK, Germany, Italy or Portugal. This scout project began 28 years ago, and since then it has been a volunteer to contribute to the development of the village.
Apart from contributing to the project by building houses, fixing lighting and electricity, building structures, and many other things, this project also allows you to organize walks through the mountains, even through the Ordesa valley that is close to there. The views are amazing, and the fauna and flora are impressive.
In short, if you like nature and adventures, and you also like to help people as a volunteer, this plan is perfect for a future holiday.
